4:00 - 4:45pm: LifeHR Compensation Survey results followed by Q&A presented by Fidelity Team

In this session, the Fidelity Team will present the findings of the comprehensive compensation survey conducted across our industry. Gain valuable insights into the latest trends, benchmarks, and best practices in compensation to ensure your organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

4:45 - 5:30pm: Panel Discussion: Engaging Employees Through Impactful Total Rewards

The program's second half will focus on engaging and retaining employees through impactful total rewards

Key topics will include:

  • Enhancing benefits packages to include mental health support, flexible working conditions, wellness programs, parental leaves, and family planning support.
  • The importance of personalized benefits to meet diverse employee needs.
  • Communicating the value of total rewards
  • Compensation Philosophy/Strategies: Staying current to continue attracting and retaining top talent.


5:30 - 6:30pm: Networking Happy Hour


This is a great opportunity to hear from industry experts, exchange ideas, and leave with actionable strategies to enhance your organization’s total rewards offerings.

Presenter Bios:

Suzanne Zoumaras

Suzanne is an accomplished, creative and business-minded human capital executive, advisor and educator. Suzanne draws from more than 20 years in Chief People Officer roles at global companies ranging from private, early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 public multi-nationals, across multiple industries including biopharma, medical device, data science, digital health, semiconductor, software, manufacturing and media and entertainment. She is a trusted advisor and respected business co-pilot who helps companies scale, elevate and align their talent and organizational strategies and execution.

In 2021, Suzanne founded Human Capital Resource Partners (HCRP), a boutique human resources advisory firm providing HR leadership and deep HR domain expertise on-demand. HCRPs provides experienced advisors and practitioners in a flexible, “as-a-service” model - fractional, interim or project basis - supporting organizations as they navigate today’s dynamic business environment.

Suzanne holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Certification in Human Resources Management, is an adjunct professor in the Fowler School of Management at San Diego State University teaching Human Resources & Total Rewards (Compensation), and previously served as the HR Program Advisor and an instructor in in the HR Certification Program at SDSU and taught multiple HR courses at UCSD. She serves on Boards of both non-profit and for-profit organizations, including currently as a Board member and Chair of the Compensation Committee for a private engineering services company, and is a proud mom, foodie, avid learner and lifelong athlete.


Justin Lowell

Justin Lowell has over 15 years experience in business and human resource operations management, specializing in compensation and HRIS. His industry experience includes media, publishing, advertising technology, medical technology, hospitality, and gaming.

Justin is a Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, and Equity Compensation Associate. He received his bachelor’s degree at California State University San Marcos, an MBA from University of Southern California, and Master’s in Finance from Golden Gate University. He is an instructor for the HR Management Certificate program at the University of California San Diego, Division of Extended Studies.


Andy Welt

Andrew Welt (Andy) joined Fidelity in November of 2019 as Senior Vice President, Rewards Consulting in Fidelity’s Workplace Consulting Team.

Over the span of his 30-year career, Andy has worked in compensation and benefits in both the corporate as well as the consulting environments. On the corporate side, he’s held leadership positions at Hasbro, CVS, Biogen, Haemonetics and Achillion Pharmaceuticals.

Before joining Fidelity, he was the national compensation practice leader at Marsh & McLennan Agency. He has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Aon Hewitt and Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson). Andy specializes in assisting clients with broad-based compensation strategy and design, equity and short-term incentives, recognition programs and performance management.

In addition to his consulting and management responsibilities, Andy is a faculty member for World-at-Work and an adjunct professor at San Diego State University.

Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Hartwick College and a master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Rhode Island.


Laico Cook

Laico Cook has 20+ years of experience working in various roles, from brokerage partners, to TPAs, mental health, and corporate employee benefit programs.

Laico’s passion lies in employee benefits, designing, developing, and communicating programs for diverse populations in and outside of work. Laico is an avid believer in continuing education and has earned her Group Benefits Associates Designation as part of her pursuit in earning her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. She has also earned certification in absence management and total rewards strategies.

On a personal note, Laico volunteers within her community by advocating for LGBTQ youth and is an ally in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
